RiverSoft PS-CDM-C PureStream cartridge combo consist of ceramic dome and mineral balls cartridge .Ceramic cartridge is made of highly compressed premium quality ceramic material with diatomic properties. Ceramic water filter cartridge works by allowing water to flow through the millions of tiny pores on the casing of the ceramic cartridge and trap impurities such as dirt, sediment, contaminants, debris, cysts and bacteria passes through them up to 0.5-1.0 microns in size. The Mineral balls cartridge has 4 stages of filtration 1. Silver impregnated granulated activated carbon, 2. Far infrared balls, 3. Silica sand, 4. Mineral sand.

Mineral balls cartridge has 4 stages of filtration:

1. Silver impregnated granulated activated carbon:

a. Activated carbon treated with oxygen to open up millions of tiny pores between carbon atoms.

b. Reduces chlorine, chloramines, solvents and hundreds of other man made chemicals in tap water.

c. Silver impregnated to disinfect and inhibit growth of bacteria.

2. Far infrared balls:

a. Known to promote growth and health of living cells.

b. Ionizes and helps activate molecules in human cells and blood.

3. Silica sand:

a. Neutralizes acidic elements to create optimal PH balance.

b. Absorbent qualities removes granular impurities, suspended solids and colloids to provide brilliant sparkle in water.

4. Mineral sand:

a. Enhances water with micro-nutrient elements such as calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, selenium and copper.
